IDENTOS turned 10 this year!  To celebrate a decade of innovation and growth, we’re taking a moment to reflect on our journey, and look ahead to an exciting future.

We’ve created a special video capturing some of the milestones, memories, and momentum that have defined the past ten years.

Highlights from our 10-year journey:

• Product Innovation: We launched five different products, multiple services, and a comprehensive platform to empower people to access digital health and government services securely and easily. This was driven by a focus on interoperability, achieved through investments in open standards and protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, UMA 2.0, and FHIR.
• Customers and Strategic Partnerships: We earned the trust of dozens of clients on visionary projects and initiatives aimed at accelerating digital transformation for the communities they serve. Collaborations with customers and key industry partners have been pivotal in delivering better access to critical digital services and building the digital public infrastructure needed to thrive in the modern digital age.
• Talent Acquisition and Growth: Our team grew to more than 60 employees, reflecting the company’s substantial growth and momentum.
• Recognition and Accolades: We’ve been honored with recognition for excellence from prestigious institutions such as The Globe & Mail and Deloitte across multiple years — a testament to our commitment to excellence, growth, and value creation for our community of stakeholders.
• Expansion of Markets: We established additional offices in Victoria (Canada), New York (US), and Bad Aibling (Germany) to better serve our growing global clientele.

Celebrating 10 Years Together

On Thursday, June 20th, we had the pleasure of gathering teammates from near and far — along with our broader community — to celebrate 10 years of IDENTOS at our new downtown Toronto office.

It was a wonderful evening featuring an insightful panel discussion and a fireside chat on the future of digital transformation and innovation in Canada, with industry experts:

• Hamid Arabzadeh (CEO, RANOVUS Inc.)
• Manish Agarwal (Chief Information Officer / Assistant Deputy Minister, MPBSD, Ontario Government)
• Craig McClellan, (CEO, ThinkOn Inc.)

As part of the festivities, our teammates also took part in a creative challenge: drawing a lock without looking, and without lifting their marker from the paper!

The results of this fun exercise came together to create a collaborative art piece, now proudly displayed on our office walls:
