At TECHNATION’s Parliament Hill Day, IDENTOS will join members of Canada’s technology sector in discussions with elected officials and senior federal government representatives on priorities affecting digital policy and technology adoption. TECHNATION lists the 2026 event for November 17 in Ottawa as a full-day program.

A new roundtable format will organize the day around five areas: privacy governance in the age of AI, AI implementation, cybersecurity resilience, data sovereignty and digital resilience, and Canada’s role in international agreements and alliances. The sessions are intended to produce focused discussion between industry and government on current ICT policy issues.

IDENTOS brings direct experience from public-sector digital infrastructure, where policy-based access control, consent, delegation, privacy, and centralized access governance all affect how citizen-facing services are designed and operated. Hill Day provides a setting to bring that operational perspective into broader conversations about trusted digital services, data governance, and public-sector modernization.
